I was excited to see the goodies that E received in the Why and Whale surprise pack. I never did kid subscription based boxes with O and W so I wasn’t sure what to expect.
Please note that I was not financially compensated for this post. I received a sample for review purposes. The opinions are completely my own based on my experience.
First impressions? The packaging is SO FUN. O and W were immediately attracted to it. I also love how the items are carefully wrapped with some fun paper confetti inside. Luckily for my husband, I was able to keep it all contained in the box.

I’ve never heard of this brand so it was fun to have something I’ve never heard of in the box. This cardigan is so cute! E won’t be able to fit into it for maybe a few more months but I love that. The material is so soft and it’s really well-made. I’ve tucked it away in her closet for safe keeping until then.
E has been gnawing on her fist for almost a month. We’ve been using teething necklaces but I wanted to try a teether toy. We got rid of our teether toys awhile ago so I was already looking into getting a Natursutten one. This one not only got approved by me but E as well. You can see how eager she was to get her hands on it!
I was really excited to see these products in the box. I’ve been meaning to get some to try out since I’ve heard good things about their products. I like that there are two different products – an all over ointment and natural baby fresh spray. Both very appropriate items and the type of products ideal for a child in E’s age range.
I love that there were a variety of items in the box. The products were items from brands that I was both familiar with and unfamiliar with but I love that. You can discover new brands this way. Everything in the box was very much on trend. The one I chose was specifically geared towards E’s age but I can imagine, since you can get boxes based on age, that these surprise packs are filled with fun things for older kids as well. These would also make good presents to give. I mean, what kid wouldn’t want to get a monthly surprise in the mail? Be sure to check out Why and Whale and order a monthly surprise pack for your little one!
